That seems to be my life right now. Constantly chasing my to-do list! I guess that’s what I get for taking on so much. But how can I choose just one thing to focus on?! Everything is so exciting.
My Youtube channel hit 1,000 subscribers on Monday, which was absolutely amazing. I still can’t believe over 1,000 people want to listen to what I have to say. I’m also trying to be active on social media (Twitter and Instagram for now!), but it’s proving quite time consuming. Then there is the blog (here!), and reading books, exercising, attempting to study TEFL … oh and did I mention my 9-5 job?! Ha.
I know it will all pay off eventually, though, so I’m trying to stick with it.
This week I’ve been reminded of how important it is to have an emergency fund, so my next video / post will be about that. I actually had to buy a new laptop, as well as spend £300 on new tickets to Poland to see my family in August because my work didn’t allow me to go on the original dates booked (and the tickets I got were non-refundable!). Not a great month for savings….
Super pleased with my new laptop, though – the video rendering has become a painless activity as opposed to the long drawn out process it used to be.
I’m really starting to get weighed down by all this virus stuff, my worry about my family is overwhelming! I hope they manage to find a way of controlling it soon or I may go crazy!
Anyhow, thank you for all your encouraging comments and messages on YouTube and social media, it keeps me going 🙂
